consultation
First, feel free to contact us via our interest form. We’ll schedule a call to chat one-on-one about what you’re looking for out of your project, or can schedule studio visits for clients located in San Francisco. Once we have an understanding of what you’re looking for in terms of creative direction and scope, we’ll provide an artwork quote and when agreed upon, we require a 50% deposit before beginning creative work. Our minimum artwork fee is $350.
creative process
Our timelines vary depending on the scope of work, but generally ours is a very intimate process wherein we try to get to know our clients best we can and provide a highly personalized end product. That means your initial designs will likely be ready for first review within 4 weeks from receiving your deposit. We try to structure our review and revision process by allowing for 3 rounds of revisions. Reviews and scheduling vary on the scope of the project, however, and will be presented and agreed to with the artwork quote.
PRINTING
For the sake of creative integrity, we handle all printing and production in-house. During the first rounds of creative review, we’ll make suggestions for materials, and will arrange to have paper and envelope samples sent to your desk. The cost of printing, including paper goods, is not included in your artwork quote: when you decide on printing specifics, we’ll provide a print quote. Full payment for printing is required at press time.
delivery
After we’ve checked the final printed goods for quality control, they’ll be packaged with care and sent to you. Each element (envelopes, cards, etc.) will be provided individually, or we provide assembly services for an hourly fee. When we ship your printed goods, we include a link to high-res digital copies of all of your artwork, including any custom fonts you might have ordered. We require remittance of the additional 50% of our artwork fees upon delivery.
rush orders
We prefer to take our time with our process, but we’re happy to work quickly if need be. We calculate rush fees based on how much faster you’d like to move through the process: for instance, if you’d like your project done in half the estimated time, we would charge a 50% fee.
