how much will it cost?

Our services are totally bespoke and everything is handcrafted. Our rates reflect the craft and love that goes into our work, and they vary a great deal based on the scope of the project. Our minimum artwork fee is $350, which does not include printing, although we pride ourselves on high-quality, affordable digital printing in-house. Please contact us for a rate sheet or a customized quote.

how long will it take?

It depends upon the scope of the project, but for reference, a full wedding suite takes approximately three months from initial consultation to client approval. Printing takes additional time but typically takes an additional 2-3 weeks. For a full-body portrait, the drawing process usually takes several weeks, but printing is much quicker. Rush orders are possible and will incur fees.

WILL YOU WORK WITH MY EVENT PLANNER?

Not only will we, but we very much want to. Your event planner is likely the one building the deadlines and logistics for your event, and we’ll work with them to make sure everything is produced and delivered on time to the correct place.

can i use my own paper? how about my own printer?

We work with a small but fierce cabal of vendors with whom we have strong relationships (which means we can get the best prices and those last-minute quick turnarounds). But we’re always open to collaborating with new vendors, so if you have a press or company in mind, we’ll be happy to work with them. However, clients assume 100% of printing costs with outside vendors. And if you meant your printer at home or work, trust us when we say no. The artwork you’ve paid for deserves to be handled by a professional print shop.

what printing methods do you offer?

We are no longer offering in-house printing services, thanks to the volume of orders we’ve received. However, our trusted press partners can handle anything you want to throw at them: letterpress, foil, embossing, white ink, etc. Some designs lend themselves better to flat digital offset printing and some shine with those more traditional press techniques, so just ask.

CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT YOUR SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENT?

All of our shipping materials are made of 100% recycled materials and are 100% curbside recyclable, including any adhesives and labels, and our branded notecards are made of paper scraps from production runs. All of our stock papers are 100% recycled, and we are committed to working only with vendors that share our values, offset their carbon emissions, and guarantee their sustainability programs. (That means no Uline.)

who owns the rights to the finished artwork?

You’ll have limited reproduction rights for everything: there will be details in our artwork contract, but basically, you’ll be allowed to reproduce the artwork for personal use only. We retain the rights to use all artwork for commercial use.

what if i don’t want my work shared on your website or social media channels?

The intimacy of our relationship with our clients is the most sacred thing here, and if you would prefer to keep your project to yourselves, we will absolutely keep the work private. However, we can also anonymize work by changing names, locations, and dates on request.
